1 - Parayko is not going anywhere, least of all Toronto. Let's clear that up right off the top.
2 - More importantly, Not that I speak for the Blues, but I would be super duper interested in Jokiharju if Faulk somehow goes.
As to your offer, I like it, I like it a lot, there's good value. Maybe not exactly the value I'd hand pick, but undoubtedly a tempting offer.

More Strong Transition Play
Love the borgen idea, if that's the cost, sooner the better. Lindstrom would be fantastic, I don't think he makes it to 6, and I think it's been established that we will somehow be picking 8th anyway. Was looking at the defense that might go in the top 10, as much as I would like help on d, I wouldn't pass on lindstrom.

I agree on Levi but it would be better for him and the Sabres if UPL is playing 3/4 really well to have Levi play more games in the AHL. I love Levi, he just would benefit from time in my opinion.</div></div>
There are not any other Sabre ACGM's that understand team building as well as you.
Very insightful.
As you correctly addressed cap is not an issue for the Sabres.
Over Luukkonen's last 9 games the Sabres have scored 20 goals.
In the four games he lost, they scored 4 while he only surrendered 8.
He is the real deal.

Not saying the offer is good or not, but more so funny that you think Raty and hogs = Ostland and savoie. Not even the same tiers

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>littlejerryseinfeld</b></div><div>Is hanifin even good?</div></div>
From a Flames fan. Yes he is good. He'll never be a go to number 1 guy, but he's a perfect #2 or #3 on a good team.
Considering the Sabres have Dahlin and Power, Hanifin would be a perfect fit for them.

Thanks for the laugh. That was a good one
Sorry “homer”
But he’s not getting a 1st- that’s HILARIOUS !
I can see why EDM wouldn’t wanna move him,
but NO ONE would pay that price</div></div>
The cost of a rental #3C at last year's deadline was in the neighbourhood of a second round pick: all of Domi, Eller, and Granlund fetched equivalent returns to that set price. McLeod has term, is younger, and expires with club control at the end of his current deal. Likewise, he's showing growing utility as a forechecking LW and has frequented Edmonton's second line this season.
Depending on the team in question, two second round picks may hold more intrinsic value than a late first round pick. It's absolutely not an unreasonable ask. Even if you think the idea of trading a first for McLeod is stupid, why should Edmonton take anything less than half of what Tanner Jeannot was sold to the Lightning for? The league has set precedence with these young cost-controlled RFA's.
Instead of being quick to label someone as a homer, maybe take a second to think about why they've presented an argument as they have.

What kind of a price would you put on McLeod?</div></div>
Mcleoud is worth a 1st or two 2nds imo. Has got better every season and during the oilers streak he’s leading the team in 5 on 5 pts with Warren foegle. He’s also mainly a C which I think is the most valuable position imo

They'll definitely choose Willander over Lekkerimakki though.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Danny_Canuck</b></div><div>What about swapping Hunter Brzustewicz with Lekkerimaki? Think Willander is untouchable.</div></div>
Buffalo would certainly prefer Brzustewicz over Lekkerimaki. Willander would be the best but he probably is as untouchable as Benson, Kulich or Savoie are to the Sabres.
If offered Buffalo should make this trade now to see if Granato could resurrect Andrei Kuzmenko, so he could be flipped at the TDL.
Buffalo's and Vancouver's first are trade chips for top defense first RHD and Lekkerimaki could be considered Buffalo 2024 1st round plck.
