Those are 3 non starters, hertl is on a steal of a contract especially if he builds on his last year (which I expect him too as he was an mvp for SJS), Meier is on a disgustingly good contract and also was a monster in the playoffs. Labanc took a 1x1 for more points than Laine (not saying he’s better because Laine has a much higher ceiling), so as much as I like Laine those 3 will not be traded unless Winnipeg loses the trade; which isn’t the goal of trading Laine. I do agree the trade proposed isn’t quality enough for Laine but those 3 don’t get it done unless Winnipeg overpays.

I hope the Caps keep Djoos for another decade, and make him a top pair guy by next year or so, but I also see the salary cap math, I see how they're all in, I see how many minutes the five guys ahead of him played last year, and I think for a 3rd and a prospect, he's probably gone this summer.</div></div>

Why is a honka post being taken so “seriously” lol like I’m not saying honka is at all what the sharks need based on my reply to the first comment
