I mean, the fanbase has spoiled on Skinner, so it'd be easy to see him wanting out.
Gallagher would wear a letter in Buffalo and is the type of ****head (respectively) the Sabres need.
The 3 3's are the hurdle.

Big, physical, RHD at a decent age, I don't think TB can get him on books with their young group of NHL Defensemen.

$7M is a little rich for a first bridge deal on either. Could maybe settle between 4.5-5.5M.
The injury factor would be in consideration for Quinn.
By all means, I hope Quinn and JJ perform and are legit top6. Quinn makes Cozens go. Hope to see a bounce back there also.

Cecconi isn't leaving. Komarov and an AHL full-timer.
Strbak isn't leaving Artyom Levshunov for another year or 2 at Mich State anyways.

Not getting rid of Kulich.
Asset A: Has 13 career goals in the highest level Professional Swedish Hockey League is 20 years old.
Asset B: Has 2 career goals in the 2nd highest level of professional hockey in the world is 20 years old
Asset C: Has 82 career goals in the highest level of hockey in the world and is 24 years old.
We should not give up Asset A or B for Asset C?

A healthy Quinn, will be a career year, 20g - 40a, and we may be talking 3.5-4.5M.
He makes offense happen. That's where it all went this year, he was out. (plus Tage injury)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tjm220</b></div><div>Not all of your ideas are bad, but you have things a bit messed up. You have Peterka third line Center when he is a winger only, and Kane is not signing here to play third line minutes. I appreciate some out of the box thinking, bringing in players with some local ties, but these are Band-Aids that don’t really help much. I could get on board with the Ferabee trade, but I doubt Philadelphia goes for it unless 1 of our top prospects is in the deal (Savoie, Ostlund, Kulich).</div></div>
The local ties were for fun.
There has been few clips of JJ playing Center, I think his skating and relentlessness could translate down middle - played some in Germany.
Could flip Quinn back to Center where he had played in Rochester. (AHL Rookie of the year - played Center)
I'd be willing to send Ostlund or Kulich for an established 20 goal scorer.

Had the 11 in there and took it out. Think I'd pull trigger on that instead of this year.
My thinking on the 2 2's is that the Canes don't have the leverage to pull a 1. You can't pay everyone. But if there's a big competition to get him, then throw next years 1 (top 10 protected).

What is the point of any of these interactive gm's? To get opinions of worth if he does somehow waive.
Last year understand he was off a off-season surgery, now should be a year removed and healthy. He's still one of the better 2 way centers in the league.
Couturier has everything the Sabres need, and he may want out of his situation because of how they treated him. If they stay young, the playoffs are 2-3 years away.

Certainly not for anyone that doesn't have sustained NHL experience. Calgary makes sense for Krebs to go home and restart with more ice time.

Don't believe Krebs is a fantastic offensive player...I'm also not an analytics guy but went to them for that pairing (don't remember seeing them together much in past - much prefer the eye test).
Natural Stat Trick 22-23 and 23-24 included:
Krebs + Skinner
227:28 TOI together.
xGF% = 38.61% (Not good)
CF% = 46.62% (Closer to even, but still on the negative side)
Both are significantly better away from each other.

I think as long as he's willing to play his role, he has a job, he isn't your "just enforcer" type, he's a decent skater too.
