Moving Carlo and adding big
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vikhodush</b></div><div>You’re light on zadorov but in this scenario why is Carlo the only guy that makes sense to get rid of? He makes 4m and you have that much cap space still open…</div></div>
I just can't see them investing that much in the D-core (with Zadorov). Sweeney's already said he wants to prioritize speed and secondary scoring (even though we need primary scoring). While I would prefer we moved someone like Zacha, moving Carlo makes the most sense if we invested big $ in someone like Zadorov. I could be light on his AAV, but I wouldn't want us going higher than that. This scenario also gives us the room to give more to Swayman and potentially add a few more depth pieces to the bottom-6, such as a Skinner or Atkinson.

I think he'd be a great addition to our 4th line, and also gives us a chance to recoup some draft capital in exchange for much needed cap space for Tampa. I like Lauko, but think the size and physicality of Jeannot would compliment the bottom 6 really well and take some pressure off Frederic.

Think you're vastly overvaluing Zegras if you think Brandon Carlo and a high pick wouldn't do it. Bruins wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole, regardless.

Bruins - Cup Contender
Roster is way too slow, and you've given Dillon waaaaaay too much. Also don't see the value of adding a guy like Monahan when you're overloaded with middle-6 centres and he barely plays on the wing.

McGroarty
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Celtics21</b></div><div>I think I’d rather have Lysell, the 25th pick, and the third round pick with the current state of our farm system. I love college play, but the NCAA is not the AHL.</div></div>
From hearing what's been said about him in Providence by the coach, as well as beat writers (Divver and Marinofsky discussed his lack of value and possible attitude issues recently), I get the sense his time in Boston might be close to done. I'd rather take the chance at developing someone like McGroarty than hold onto Lysell and a late 1st.

Can likely swap in a Duclair at a similar price point to Mantha. In an ideal world, I wouldn't mind seeing them target both for size/speed/scoring. With this Korpisalo move I don't see how its possible - the scoring winger will need a be a bargain-bin deal.

Fun times
Not even remotely good enough for Drai, but I like the idea of adding both him and Lindholm to revamp our centre position.

One Shot At Duchene just for fun
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>flamesfan419</b></div><div>Chances are none of this would ever happen, so just be kind when you comment.</div></div>
Honestly, its not bad. That Brouwer trade might not happen, and I don't think the Av's get a lot of value in return for Duchene. The Flames would need to give up Bennett IMO. But overall, in principle, it's not bad. Like the Iggy signing as well, bring him home. Also overvaluing Lazar big time. He'll be lucky to get $1M.

Like the idea, but there is no way that trade would ever happen. You'd need to throw in Hanifin or an established player like Jordan Staal.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Snobalt</b></div><div>I don't like the moves the Wild made prior to free agency. I did the best I could but I still doubt that this team would make it past the first round.</div></div>
Agree. Too much money in all the wrong places IMO.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Snobalt</b></div><div><div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bruin04</b></div><div>Not sure the Miller trade really benefits either team that much. Also don't think there is anyway that McAvoy would be paired with someone like Depres in his first full season. I think Sweeney will do everything they can to move Beleskeys contract, and I think its almost certain that Spooner will move. Personally I think Bjork is more NHL ready than JFK, so I have him in the 3rd line spot over him in my roster. Feel free to take a look at!</div></div>
The idea was to trade Miller to a team that needs a bottom-pairing RHD; we have too many of them and Washington lacks one. Would McAvoy be paired with Chara? Not splitting up Krug/McQuaid because they have good chemistry in spite of McQuaid's shortcomings. People have said that JFK is ready, but I don't have an opinion, so if Bjork is more ready I'll listen to you.</div></div>
I think DS likes Miller too much to move him, but I see where your coming from. I just really don't think that JFK is NHL ready, at least compared to Bjork. Overall, a full season in Providence would benefit them both but I assume at least one will make the opening day roster. I'm a big Debrusk fan but I think with A'gostino signing, he'll start in PRO.
I see Carlo staying with Z simply because if you go Chara-McAvoy, then you pretty much need Krug with Carlo which doesn't represent the strongest defensive pairing, while you have McQuaid, Miller and Postma for the bottom pair, yuck. If they protected Colin Miller, you would have a lot more flexibility and talent for that bottom pair.
