I retained 50% but that could easily drop to 25-30% and Gallagher...Kings would be banking on reuniting him with Danault and the success they had together. Both have 3 years left also</div></div>

Less than zero chance LA retains $29,750,000 especially taking on Gallagher.

You got 2 more games still have less 2nd round games won than TB has Stanley Cups Since the lockout season same if you add 04

Petry is nothing but a PP specialist TB doesn't need. They Have Hedman and Sergachev for that, and Raddysh is more than capable 3rd option. TB had the top PP with Raddysh running the 2 pp point, and the 5 for a 7 doesn't mitigate the cap hit TB can't afford.

Somebody on the up trend will offer him silly money to walk. Either that or its a nix on 1 or 2 of those UFA's you are trying to sign. Which of course you can fill with one of the many...many options in your prospect pool. ^^</div></div>
I'm saving this post and am going to laugh at you for saying that when he comes in at about 5.5+6. Stamkos WANTS TO PLAY HIS ENTIRE CAREER HERE AND WANTS AT LEAST ONE MORE RING. Less than zero chance TB does that Rutta trade.

Analytics are as good as the person providing them and interpreting them so no I've had several analytics sights say things like a month and a half into last season Phillip Myers was better Than Victor Hedman this was right before Thanksgiving. So until I know their sources and see the data they use to compile their analysis I'll pass

No need to insult to try and get ur point across you can try and have an adult conversation 👍🏼</div></div>
You did read the word if right?
I don't always buy into some of these analytical metrics reason their as good as the person(s) doing the analysis. Some honestly have left more than a little to skeptical about. Tomas Hertle isn't bad defensive towards is he a Coots a Cirelli a Kopitar no but middle of the pack he's decent at picking people's pockets I'll take good defense in the offensive zone whenever I can get it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMDannyB</b></div><div>If you think someone is retaining $24M on Coots for Sheary I have a bridge to sell you. Coots isn’t getting moved for anything more than $2M retention. Hertl got a 1st and a former 1st round pick with all that retention and he doesn’t have half the resume Coots does. Dude missed 2 years with a back injury and came back and still scored at a 0.5 PPG pace even with being completely burned out the last two months of the season. He will come back even better next year. Any deal for Coots is a similar deal to Hertl.
I’d move Coots with $2M retention for free but I guarantee you the Flyers wouldn’t</div></div>
I agree Philly doesn't do that. However saying Hertle "doesn't have half the resume coots does." Is utterly ludicrous is 78 less NHL he has 29 more goals and 39 less assist and 10 less points in a full season less basically.

You think Stamkos is signing in Buffalo for $4,000,000 AAV you're higher than a satellite. $4,000,000 doesn't even get him to stay in Tampa, which will cost substantially less than anywhere else.

That Tanev trade may be the absolute dumbest non complete troll post I've ever seen on here. TB gives up 2 RD one who's proven to be a 4-6 in the league and one who Jon Cooper said would absolutely have been on the team this year if it weren't for the salary cap and a mid round pick for a fourth liner. So, you either know nothing about Crozier and Perbix, have no concept of value or are a complete troll. If you think this is at all good for TB.
Lilleberg is better than Forbort.
Montreal probably doesn't do that trade.

They don't sniff the playoffs without them so yeah they did help a lot. Those 69 goals are going to do as much good for Toronto, and they'll keep extending NHLs historical length CUP drought.
