I feel like a top 2 d in Zach. A starter in Korpi. A top 6 guy in Domi plus 2 1sts is a good starter. Maybe even throw in foudy or texier for a prospect

What would you add? I feel the whole goalie route everyone else is going doesn’t make sense for them if they are losing eichel they aren’t competing. Maybe tarasov or the rights to one of our Russian prospects

Honestly the guys that are getting moved aren’t exactly pivotal too our success at all they are guys who are mainly streaky players and it helps Alleviate some of the salary space we need too keep everyone together. It also helps us a get a larger core of players all around the same age for a longer window of playoff runs

The first round of extensions are gonna depend on if Vlad Gavrikov is ready too make the Jump too our team. If so i feel Murray is expendable.
For the next round i feel it’s impossible for us not too explore moving on from Boone Jenner’s contract and possibly even trying too retain salary on one of Foligno Or Kovalchuk to get us where we need too be for cap room especially with the increase each year

That’s funny all we needed was a goalie that could’ve saved just a beach ball from going in the net and guess who would’ve been sitting at home crying for about the 6th straight year that they choked a “team that is better than the year before” away? Judging by your name i think you know.

Keeping Panarin Moving Bob Florida Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>Dubois is a physical player. He also has a lot of natural talent, he was a top 3 pick. If you want to judge how well a coaching staff does, try looking below the 1st round.</div></div>
Nutivaara seems pretty good. I think a guy named Atkinson has been putting up points. Korpisalo seems to be doing just fine. Bjorkstrand looks good. Josh Anderson is a 4th round pick what about him? He play a big part in filling a hole for the jackets last year with Panarin and Dubois.
And for our coach being so bad with players. Explain to me why Duclair, who couldn’t stick with Arizona of all teams, or even Chicago. Has come in under torts guidance and he’s playing the best he has for a few years. Tell me why Atkinson hasn’t been traded if he’s not physical, or Bjorkstrand.
And have you EVER watched Milano solely ina game. He is god awful with the puck. He gets it and he just looks like a deer in headlights. Now he’s great getting too the puck but the moment it hits his stick he just dies inside and looses the puck. He sometimes even looks afraid to shoot, a little of the Wennberg dilemma. He is just horrible maybe a different coach can help him be better. But look how good torts has coached the other 20 players on this team too be.
You could make this argument with any other unrealized potential guy on any team Sam bennett, hunter shinkaruk, or you could get really deep, Cam Barker. There are flops on every team and it happens.

CBJ and Tampa blockbuster
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>Abramov is 20 years old, he's not 18, you will see him this year. He's way to talented to sit in the Monsters.
As far as Tampa, that's like saying they should deal with the Penguins. It isn't going to happen. A. bad blood between the coach and the team that fired him, and B. there is no doubt they prefer to trade him out of conference. Looking at west coast, maybe Dallas. If he goes in the east it's to FL or someone who they don't have to play for a cup.
Also your line up here. 5'8, 6'3, 5'8 1st line
5'8, 6'2, 5'8 2nd line
That would be, by far, the smallest first two lines in the WHOLE league. They will get shoved around all over the ice. There is no way in hell, they would do anything even remotely close to that.</div></div>
IF abramov makes the opening night roster. He won’t be second line. I can almost guarantee it. He will be 3rd at best. Just like Dubois started. He could move up. And i could see him pushing gourde down. Gourde plays a bigger body game than his size so i could see him filling a spot. It has nothing to do with torts bad blood. This is about getting a return that actually benefits us instead of giving Panarin up for pennies on the dollar

I'm sorry, It's just not going to happen.
Ambrov is 5'9-5'8, Attkinson is 5'8. Nope, good luck with that, not going to happen. Not in the Tortz era, nor do I think John would want a trade with TB anyway. He ain't looking to do that team no favors at all.</div></div>
Okay i don’t think abramov is gonna be ready for a few years. He’s gonna need too learn to bulk his game up a little. He needs too adjust to the pro game.
Also i don’t think it’s doing Tampa a favor. It’s doing us a favor. It’s gettig us a real return for Panarin instead of not much. I feel like that’s a great return for him being that he’s made it known he won’t stay

So true. Ask Capital fans, ask the kings, Blackhawks. They have year after year given up chances of prospects for a run at the cup. They wouldn’t trade that for anything. Sometimes you gotta take that risk

How could they possibly afford to keep Panarin. Some cap clearing would definitely have to happen. Especially with a massive extension for him.

No I’m not saying dump off some young guys. It’s awhole different story if he is just a rental at the deadline but if you could get him to agree on an extension before the trade i think the value is fair. But at the deadline or sooner knowing he won’t sign. His value will decrease greatly. But. He could still fetch something.

If he’s not extending. Obviously his trade price would drop. But if he could be added to your team for a run. A deep run. Why wouldn’t you.

I mean in my eyes. That’s probably the case. It’s just what they have left as an option. If he leaves. He’s going to either the blues or panthers so take what you can get. Cut losses and move on. Nash, Carter, and a few others have done this too us. Maybe we can get lucky and squeeze something out of either team but i think we’re just screwed

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>J_Sand3rs</b></div><div>I mean, you aren't gonna get Panarin for that package anyway....
Bouwmeester = 34-year old cap dump
Kyrou = Young prospect that lost a little value last season after a sub-par year in the AHL
Kostin = Top prospect
You're really not getting him for that price when you include one of the Jackets good prospects (Texier) and a young defenseman (Scott Harrington).
A deal for Panarin is going to start at a top prospect, a young player with NHL experience, and a 1st round pick
Klim Kostin
Robby Fabbri
1st Round Pick
That's the package that starts the conversation with the Blue Jackets. With Panarin on the line, I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to somehow work Dominik Bokk into the deal.</div></div>
Okay. I don’t think Columbus is gonna get much for him unless he is open to an extension. I think the blues are really the only team that seem like he’d sign an extension with. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Anonymous</b></div><div>No Edmundson?</div></div>

Panarin-O'Reilly-Tarasenko

Fabbri-Bozak/Thomas-Bozak/Thomas
Maroon-Barbashev-Jaskin/Soshnikov
Reason Steen isnt there because Blues will habe to move him to make a trade work. Not just from a salary standpoint, but also just availability in the forward group. They want Thomas to play next season and he's more than likely ready. Bouwmeester has one year left in his contract so Blues will keep him.</div></div>
I don’t think I’d mind taking Steen over Bouwmeester. I think it’d actually be better that way

That’s the thing. I don’t think Kyrou would be a day 1 big producer. I think maybe by year two or three at the latest he begins producing at top quality of he can. But i think Panarin gives you a guarantee that he produces and you don’t have too worry if Kyrou doesn’t pan out which i doubt but you never know weirder has happened.
You guys would definitely have a terrifying line up for your top two lines
Something like
Panarin Schenn Tarasenko
Schwartz O’ Reilly Fabbri
Perron Bozak Steen
Maroon Barbashev Jaskin
That’s a deadly as hell and deep as hell lineup.
Defense could use a tiny tiny bit of help but overall that’s a cup contender for sure
