High octane / emotional competitor who leads by example and empties the tank every time he hits the ice. First line forward for the Flyers. Top six forward on every team in the NHL.
Averages around 19:00 TOI. Used in all situations. Play driver off the rush. Aggressive directing the play on net. Battles in the hard areas. Plays quick and fast. Plenty of push back. A bit of a throwback style. Loves getting under the skin of his opponent.

His role evolved in 22/23. In the past the majority of his ice came at ES and PP. This past season his role on the PK increased to an average of 1:50 TOI per game. His overall average ice time spiked to over 20 minutes and he led the Flyers in scoring for the second year in a row. He also flipped the script and scored more goals than assists. He brings energy, compete, and a 'rat' mentality. The type of player who can get under the skin of opponents. He doesn't block a ton of shots or get credit for a lot of body contact. His three zone detail also ranges. He needs to play more organized at times. He needs to improve upon his (-35) rating over the past 2 yrs.

AVG TOI (17:30). Used primarily at (ES) and (PP). Spot duty on the (PK).
His goal scoring has fallen off over the past two seasons. He was averaging (24) goals per season from (17-18) to (19-20) but has only scored (24) in his last 119 games.
A competitive player who can play quick and fast. A threat off the rush. He does have a good release and ability to tip pucks in traffic. Not shy along the wall and around the crease. He battles. There have been nights of inconsistent play this season. Nights he lacked focus.
