1. Matthew Beniers (Sabres de Buffalo) (Détails: With all the Eichel speculation, taking the best center available in the draft would be a smart move by Buffalo.).
2. Luke Hughes (Devils du New Jersey) (Détails: Regardless on how you feel about Luke's skill as a dman compared to other options, Vancouver or NJ easily takes him to pair with one of his brothers, how can they not?).
3. Owen Power (Ducks d'Anaheim) (Détails: Anaheim would pretty pleased if the "consensus number one" fell to them at third, especially because they could use a big strong dman like Power.).
4. Dylan Guenther (Kraken de Seattle) (Détails: IMO Seattle has a lot of pressure this draft, you will have to build a franchise around the player you draft, and I see them doing it with an elite scoring winger over a two way, mobile, defender.).
5. Brandt Clarke (Canucks de Vancouver) (Détails: A top pairing of Quinn Hughes and Brandt Clarke? That is a bonafide top pair once the two continue to grow and develop.).
6. Simon Edvinsson (Blue Jackets de Columbus) (Détails: Recent reports were that Seth Jones may not sign an extension in Columbus(shocker) and drafting a replacement with a good ceiling is not a bad idea for Columbus.).
7. William Eklund (Red Wings de Detroit) (Détails: Detroit continues to acquire a supporting cast around guys like Larkin and now Vrana, I see Eklund as a good fit for Detroit. If they don't feel like they want to take someone like Eklund I see them taking Wallstedt but not if they pick any higher than this.).
8. Kent Johnson (Kings de Los Angeles) (Détails: LA is on the cusp of finishing one of the faster rebuilds I've seen. They take the best player available, as Kopitar-Byfield-Johnson could easily become one of the best center depth chart a team could have.).
9. Jesper Wallstedt (Sharks de San Jose) (Détails: As a sharks fan, I hope they sell off Hertl or Meier to acquire another first round pick to draft some high end skating talent, but for a team where goaltending has been an issue for the last 3 seasons, you can't stare a gift horse like Wallstedt in the mouth.).
10. Corson Ceulemans (Sénateurs d'Ottawa) (Détails: There are better forwards available but with all the influx of young talent up front in Ottawa, I could see them going after a right handed shot to pair along side Chabot.).
11. Chaz Lucius (Flames de Calgary) (Détails: Calgary will probably take the best available player and thats Lucius imo in their position, I think his game could boost a struggling flames team next season or the following in a more sheltered role, or if they decide to rebuild, he could be a large part of the future.).
13. Sebastian Cossa (Blackhawks de Chicago) (Détails: Another off the board pick, I have Cossa going higher than people anticipated, partially because NHL GM's are so unpredictable, and partially because a good strong homegrown goalie could do the Hawks a lot of good as they continue their rebuild.).
14. Fabian Lysell (Flyers de Philadelphie) (Détails: I really like Lysell's game but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he fell a bit down the board on draft day due to his size, but I think Philly could be an ideal fit.).
15. Cole Sillinger (Canadiens de Montréal) (Détails: Sillinger has done pretty well at multiple levels including the world juniors, WHL, and USHL and is a goal scoring machine, Caufield and Sillinger on a single powerplay could be lethal.).
