I'm not sure how good a fit this trade might be. Ward has been a good pro - not sure about his pace, and whether he can keep up with todays speed in the game. If the Sharks will gamble on Hammond, then the salary offsets are good enough. Burrows might be effective in spot duty. Hopefully by the trade deadline, White and Harpur will have played enough to demostrate that they can play important roles on the team. I put Claesson with Ceci because he has a little more experience than Harpur, so hopefully can play more of a shut down role with Ceci. I think Harpur is an intelligent player and will learn how to play with Karlsson. And Phaneuf is still effective playing the right number of minutes.
