I guess I'm the only Pens fan not nostalgic for James Neal. I don't think the Preds are interested in a do over; nor do I think putting Neal back on his strong side would work out.

The Yotes desperately need a 1C. If they make a trade that position has to be addressed. Especially if they are parting with Boedker.

And even if these trades went down, you'd need about $5m to resign all the free agents. So the money doesn't work either. Maybe leaving out Neal would help. You could also flip Lovejoy at this point.

Overall though as a Pens fan I'd be happy to ice this lineup if only for 1 season.

My college roommates and myself are all Pittsburg fans. We would party with Mr. Jim Rutherford if just one of the trades were consummated. But from a very practical perspective, there is absolutely no possibility of my friends and myself seeing Mr. Jim Rutherford. These trades show no practical benefits for Arizona or Nashville.
