The reason it isn't a good enough trade for Duchene alone let alone Duchene & Barrie is it doesn't address team needs. Or rather it may address Winnipeg's but not Colorado's. Sakic has been pretty specific about what he's looking for and that ain't it sorry to burst your bubble chaps! (and to a division rival no less....FML!)

Barrie is Better than Trouba, who cannot defend in any sense of the word. Which leaves old garbage & a waiver wire for Duchene? Plus retained salary? SMH.

Kassian has a ton of value to Edmonton & hes on a good contract. Why would they trade him for a collection of trash? SHM
