          Swap Fowler for Vatanen, Ducks aren't gonna trade Fowler anytime soon and we have too many LHD as it is. Buchnevich will be over next season so I assume he'll be on the second line. It would be nice if we sign Zaitsev but from all accounts it looks like he's going to the Leafs. And if we have all that cap space I'd have to imagine they would go out and sign a big name forward. Decent trades though

          Well you have done a fine job....but totally unrealistic job of creating cap space.
          Arizona doesn't want Glass and his salary...or else they would have claimed him on waivers (as would've 28 other teams). No, Edmonton does want a expensive contract in NTC Girardi. No, the Leafs don't Staal's never ending 5.7m contract in exchange for Hunwick's 1.2m a year. The Ducks trade is fair. Hayes is going get more than $900,000, like 3 million a year more.
