Most of the comparables to AA are getting between $1.7M to $2.1M not $5M let's be realistic here dude.

And you know this as fact, They just said that he's not going to accept the KHL offer so it sounds like Holland and AA might be getting closer. He can play in the KHL all he wants he's still our property for the next 4 years regardless and Holland wont deal AA unless it's massive overpayment he wont just give him away i can pretty much guarantee you that AA is playing in Detroit this year and next the KHL deal is only for leverage since AA hasn't got any.

Since all the older players all have NTCs too some extent, It's virtually impossible to move them without their consent and with the Swedish Mafia the chances that any of those guys get dealt is slim too none.

I totally agree with you that Holland screwed up, And unfortunately it means that we will be in total mess for quite awhile here.

You just have to talk to teams that they'll be interested in - teams with some good Swedish players. Zetterberg would bring in a pretty good return for a rebuilding team.
