Pretty fair deal.

Only 20 points, Confused why he gets almost 4M and Walker and Ghost gets less than him therefore, Overpay.
Only 29 in last 2 years, Undeserved of the pay

The deal itself is okay. It's closer to the overpay side than the underpay, but it's still solid.

What worries me is that the Preds currently have 12 F, 6 D and 2 G with roughly 500k in cap space left. Unless they want to ride the risky hand with healthy scratches (and also risk losing Tomasino and/or Parssinen on waivers), they need to make some moves. The most obvious is moving Glass, unfortunately.

He's more on the defensive side of things not offensive...

Walker and Ghost are getting paid into their 30s, and it's not like either are really better than Carrier.

When #5-7 defencemen like Liljegren, Lyubushkin, Cole, Chatfield, etc are getting $3M and up, 3 x $3.75M for a right handed, 27 yr old, legit 2nd pair defenceman is solid value, if not a bargain.

This isn't a great deal, but it is solid. Fans should be happy.
