You just lost Stamkos with that lowball offer

Neither player will sign for that low. Guentzel is rumored to be giving the Canes a discount 8 x $8M Stamkos will get $6M+ easily and would have given Tampa a discount but not the $3M he was offered The guy built Tampa and give them a discount on the last contact

Carolina is offering $8Mx8, which is $64M. Why would Guentzel take a $15M cut? What is with these Stamkos deals being 8 years? He's 34.

thats not 15 mil.. thats 4 mil and tampa has no state income tax.. Stammer was rumored to have wanted an 8x4 to 5mil contract
