2nd and 3rd are at minimum on the wrong side of the equation there for the Buch trade. Regardless I don’t see where Kakko or Edstrom fit into our plans next year.

I would not do this since Chiarot was actually pretty reliable last season. Adding the extra 3M for a minimal upgrade is not worth it. If you add a decent Draft pick, sure.

Detroit 100% doesn't take this trade. We're at the end of a rebuild, not a dumping ground for horrible contracts. NYR would have to retain at least half of Trouba's salary.
