Huberdeau is still better than Nurse, and has a higher chance of living up to the contract. No way they'd make the trade in the 1st place, and noway they'd retain and pay extra

The Flames are rebuilding and don't have a franchise player meaning they are going to be bad for at least 5 years but by the time they are good again nurses contract ends a year before Huberdeaus.
