    I’d offer a 3rd and Ty Smith for Marino but those are gone now and I don’t think Hextall works in the NJ front office.

    NJ could and should get more for Marino in a trade. This would be terrible asset management on NJ's part.

    I was intentionally vague. Canes have plenty of prospects and picks that they can trade for Marino. I just don't know what the asking price would be from NJ.

    Maybe some deal around Necas? Could they use a top 6 forward? I just saw one with Marino for Boeser. Maybe like Marino and a 2nd for Necas and Pesce rights?

    I think the Canes have to pay up something even though Pesce signs an extension. New Jersey could wait till July 1 and sign Pesce and trade Marino for assets to someone else.
