Let me remind you that people that are traded because they refuse to sign their ELC don’t get much (See Adam Fox) and Necas is more valuable than Ehlers

Ehlers is more valuable with retention, especially 1.5 mil.

McGroarty is not strongarming his way to Carolina or any specific team, just one where he will get playing time. Teams will bid and give much better offers.

Necas will be signing for more than just one year while Ehlers is a pending UFA which makes Necas more valuable and fair enough on the second point the offer could be better but it wasn't my offer it was one of your own and I basically copied it.

What do you think a fair offer for Ehlers+McGroarty?

Necas and the next 2 1st round picks might tempt Chevy. I wouldn't pull the trigger on that but that's because I want Ehlers to stay.

Both 1st rounders are likey to be very late, so they're not as valuable as first rounders from other teams. Ig you can make the 2025 pick top 16 protected.

I’d say further than you think. Necas for Ehlers is fairly similar but retention costs more. McGroarty for basically a second gets beat by most teams. It would have to likely be Necas plus a first plus a second or a prospect.
