If you did the Ottawa side of this deal it would look atrocious. The Sens arent deep enough to be giving up their best value contract in Bath along with a top 4d and 3LW and then turn around and spend 11m on Marner.

You didn't really address the main problem the leafs have.. You brought in two offensive minded defenseman and overpayed for Edmondson. You can't really get far with 1 right shot defenseman no matter how good he is, it's much smarter to not make this trade and get two right shot dmen that are defense first in FA.
