Seems to me that Boston wants something other than Chychrun for Ullmark who likely a one and done in Boston,

I don’t think Ullmark is worth Chychrun and a first.

I don’t think taking Chychrun and Forsberg is worth it for the Bruins. I’d rather just keep Ullmark and sign a cheaper defenseman if that’s the option.

I’d take Forsberg at full retention. Otherwise, Ottawa can keep him and figure out what to do with him,

Signing matt duchene and tarasenko might work for a year or two but that first line might be the oldest in the NHL right now. 36-33-33. Those contrcts are going to be brutal as soon as they hit 35. I'm glad the contracts are for only two years but i'd avoid these two entirely if I could. Theres better, younger players out there in free agency who aren't much more expensive.

As for chychrun, he's not a good for boston as he'd be one and done. If they sign him, which they wont because they have lindholm and lohrei in the top 4, lohrei would be pretty expendable because having his offensive skills on the bottom pair is a huge waste.

I'd rather offer that for Saros.

nsh laughs u off the phone. Unlike boston there realistically not moving saros at all. unless u far out pay which this would be barley paying enough. Forby is a fairly usless at best backup whos overpaid and will stop a team from getting a depth player instead which is more of a net - in value. chyc is solid but is most likely a 1 year and gone player in most spots. boston and nsh is basically getting 2 players they want to move right after they get them, a 1st and 3rd. not really a fit for boston and nsh doesnt even consider it.
