thats an awful trade for the bruins, move there top Prosect who should spend some time in the NHL, a vesna goalie and solid depth Fwd for a dman that has no role and there own first? take out lysell and lauko and its closer to what the bruins would want.

I can see Chychrun and a 2024 2nd for Ullmark and a 2026 2nd. Maybe Ottawa stretches that 2024 2nd to the Boston 1st, but I doubt it.

Ullmark isn't worth a top 4 D and a 1st rounder, sorry to break it to you. He's a 30 year old goalie about to get a contract extension. Maybe he nets a 1st, but not a 1st and Chychrun. That's brutal.

if u think markstrom just got a 1st and a NHL 3LD with a huge body and a high ceiling and u dont think ullmark who has been better over the last 4 years, more consistent and 4 years younger wont get more then my friend u need to go watch a different sport.

If you're comparing that trade to acquiring Chychrun and a 1st you might be on some good stuff i'd like to try. Bahl is a 7D who got thrown into the lineup due to injuries in NJ. I've been on this site for nearly a decade, watch 4 early games and 4 late games a night, but yes, I don't watch enough or know enough. Thanks.

Bahl is a former 2nd round pick, has a massive body he played 42 games 2 years ago and everygame last year. hes 3LD who has a massive ceiling if he can start to improve. not many 6'6 Dmen. ullmark has more value then markstrom by a good bit. which would thus explain a jump from a high ceiling middleish value balh to a 2LD who isnt all that valuable to boston that OTT is trying to force into the deal (off the vagueish reports ive seen). lysell isnt going anywhere near an ullmark deal unless necas/ another top 6 younger guy is coming back. Ullmarks value is about ott 2nd + chyc no ret%. if lauko is in the deal then that changes it up to the boston first. lauko would easily slot into OTT 4th line, can play all 3 spots and is still young + will be very very cheap. ullmark floor is a prospect near NHL + 1st. not chyc + 1st with boston giving away there best prospect whos reaching to be in the NHL this year.
