What about this isn’t realistic. Not one of these post are 100% realistic or accurate in anyway. It’s impossible to know what other teams are thinking about. Just like how no one would accept that PLD contract.

Gavrikov has a NMC. You didn't sign Spence. Lizotte is due for a raise. Turcotte and Thomas are pinned to make the team. Moore and Danault are typically never separated. Byfield played 2 games at center last season and will need time to acclimate to the role.

If you retain in gavrikov boston might send a 2nd but they definitely dont want to spend a 2nd round pick to eat 6 million dollars of cap. Gavrikov may be a good defenseman however hed be on the third pair without a doubt, the Bruins have a lot of faith in lohrei and I dont see their top 4 being shifted whatsoever.

I saw some projections starting point at $10M, but he'd definitely need more in one of the highest-taxed areas in North America. Like I wouldn't be blown away if he took around $10M in a place with low to no income tax like Vegas, Seattle, Florida teams, etc.
