Basically you're paying P. Kane $7.4M this year ($6M salary + $1.4M for Skinner's buyout) this year then $12M (6+6) next year for an older player who may (or may not) score a handful of goals more than the player you're buying out. Then paying another $6M the following year...for another year for the Skinner buyout?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And I like the idea of P. Kane as a top-9/top-6 winger
