That Necas trade is a joke right?

Honestly, I rate it, you use that insane amount of cap space well, and the trades are actually pretty good. The only questionable things for me is the Moser contract, I think he could be worth a little higher, he had a great season and he's really young. And in the Marner trade, I think you could have kept Dylan Guenther, and either trade away a 1st, or a decent prospect

As a Toronto fan I don't think the trade gets done without Guenther. If you're giving up a 4x high 90 point guy who is only 27, you gotta give up something significant. Nothing here, outside of Guenther, separates the trade from getting a 60+ point guy or getting someone like necas. I think without him, the first isn't even good enough as a replacement... That said I am very high on Guenther. I

If it’s a Necas deal canes would want guys like schmaltz Crouse or Keller (with more added obviously from canes).

I don’t have any leverage lol. But canes have more than it’s being made out to be. They still have control for the short term at least unless Necas plans to sit out which we all know isn’t gonna happen.
