that's a useless move for San Jose, if Couture comes back healthy (he will be giving it a shot)

I could absolutely see Couture being moved to Buffalo, as it was rumored for a while that Buffalo was interested in him. but it won't be for this return.

He's not a rental. He's got one full year left and will be traded somewhere he's willing to extend if he is moved. The value of the pick isn't the issue, the issue is it doesn't meet a need. Try debating the actual post next time instead of changing it to what you want it to be.

If you want the TDL price, you'll need to wait until the TDL. Buffalos pick is 11, so it isn't top 10, so you did learn something today!
