1) Wild need cap space and to start making big moves before their penalty falls off.
2) Faber has shown he is the new Defensive leader and the Wild should begin retooling around that and some additional size.
3) Guerin is looking to shop Rossi (Not sure why), so looking to Utah to give them Center Depth from a solid young center looking to be a 1C, and to boot his old coach is now the coach of Utah.
4) Several other players are just depth players which MN has in abundance, time to get some out the door for other teams to use to fill their depth.

Utah
1) They want to make a splash! What better way to do that then picking up a young Center and buying Defensive pieces to build up a D-core that is pretty weak.
2) They sell peanuts to do it, minus Guenther

EDM
1) The Oilers have put themselves in a terrible position where they have 10M to sign 8 players, 2 of which will be looking for raises minimum.
2) What better way to address this then going to another team suffering from not just Cap issues but having an overflowing roster of depth players? You get one for term, one half off and another to fill in depth. Plus you get to drop a player who you will probably not resign and he is worth 4M? Easy deal imo.
