NSH likely declines. Depending on who is available at 7OA then I could see NSH maybe excepting, but that Korpisalo contract is brutal to even think about.

WRT Korpisalo... his buyout isnt too bad. We could give him a season and see what happens. Maybe he rebounds... maybe he sucks.

Completely agree. My hope would be that he plays better in NSH's system, but the entire deal hinges on who is available at 7OA and of course Saros contract negotiations. If contract negotiations are too far apart and either Catton or Lindstrom are somehow available there then that is a deal I would take.

I do think there's a deal to help both sides based around Chychrun and Fabbro (and Carrier UFA rights), but this one goes too far. I don't see 1st and Chychrun's surplus over Fabbro being enough to get Saros let alone the 1st back and Korpisalo.

Who would you guys hope to draft at 7 OA?

Likely Catton or Lindstrom if either are still available. If neither are available it would probably be Parekh. NSH needs someone who can develop into a 1C, as they have never had that in their franchise. If they can't get that then a true 1RD becomes the next priority. NSH has a LD in Molendyk, but the RD side is looking really thin on top end talent.
