The first Trade , Winnipeg said no and the last trade, the Wild also said no but overall its good

I don't hate the Palmieri idea but the thing that really wouldn't want me to make this deal is his size... the Hurricanes don't need another sub 6'0 winner we need more of the top-6 power forward types

To Palmieri's credit, he does play alot bigger than his frame and he drives to the net constantly. Wouldn't consider him a big power forward by any means but he definitely doesn't shy away from contact.

That WPG trade is terrible. a good second liner against an ovepaid d-men? Why?

Apparently Ehlers is open for a change of scenery as he enters his last year before UFA. Jets are light on NHL right side defensemen and Pulock may be one of the few people that might not have WPG on his no move list (he grew up in Grandview, MB).

Probably doesn't happen, but that is the rationale.

Not trading for Marner and especially for that price....No way.

What makes this trade a no?

a top 4 LD
2 young prospects

For Marner who's a FA at the end of the year and wants a BIG LONG Term contract worth 12M per??? Hell No....I'll take all these assets and use them more wisely.
