Agreed. But I feel like we wouldn't get those prospects if it was the 2024 1st. Plus if it's pre draft there's no extension which would possibly bring the price down a touch (although it's implied they'll sign if they get traded anyway you would think)

This would be a base to get Parayko, not Buch.

Buch is more along the lines of '24 first and a lower prospect or the '25 first and Ostlund with an extension for Buch.

So a PPG player goes for that little now? I know yall sold Guentzel for cheap but this doesn't compare

Ouch! That hurt! But seriously, the#11 pick value depends on who a particular team is looking for, and Sammuelsson is a LHD shut down d-man. I think his value is pretty comparable (given their current contract statuses) to Buch. That's why I suggested the'25 1st as an alternative
