i just don't think the bruins would be able to wrap their head around necas' defensive deficiencies

i actually think Hall fully retained, maybe twice retained, would be a really good pick up for boston.

Think playing on a line with Marchand/Coyle can cover up those warts? They said they need to get faster and Necas makes sense for that. I also love bringing Hall back if JDB is gone too

1. Hawks have a bunch goalie prospects, don't need another.
2. Hawks will be looking to pair Hall with Bedard to increase his value at deadline. Trading him now at his lowest value makes no sense.

right idea with chi but they already have a few decent goalie prospects and getting one who is going to be at worst a NHL backup in a year doesnt fit the timeline. geekie move also doesnt add up he was in there top6 during there playoffs only has a cap hit of 2m and even if they are looking to trade him he would be in a package for a bigger deal and would for sure get more then just a 3rd. a team trying to push themselves over would for sure give up a top 10/20 protected first or the bruins would just keep him.

no, i don't. the hurricanes are a lot like the bruins, defensive structure is an important part of their identity. Necas hasn't been able to cut it. He's 25. he is what he is. No use to the bruins.

They can get faster without trading for an overvalued, overpriced winger that doesn't fit their identity. Lots of ways to manage that

This is exactly why I don't want CHI to trade for him either. His deficiencies are covered up by being on a defensively strong team. If he comes to CHI, he will be exposed, and likely won't have half the production he has with them. Not to mention CAR's asking price is insane, they want the return of a "budding star", but along the lines of what you said, he is 25 and will be 26 next season, he is not a budding star, he is what he is at this point.

honestly i think he's already been pretty exposed. especially when he desperately wants to be a center and his coach says, "absolutely not."
