Marchessault on a 2-3 year deal would be a nice pickup. Would like to do something to address the 2nd line center issue though. I like Kuzy but I’d feel much better with a better center than him on the 2nd line and him playing the 3rd. Apparently a right handed 2C is at the top of their priority this offseason. Getting rid of KK and signing Jarvis to a bridge would help with that.

I'm curious what a year of Brindy-type conditioning could do for Kuznetsov. If it doesn't pan out, address the hole at the deadline. It's only one year remaining. To me, the focus this offseason should be either to re-sign one of Guentzel or Necas or, alternatively, re-make the wings by adding size via Crouse with Necas as the chip.

Yea there’s a few directions they could go. Feel like they could be in on Lindholm talks come the end of the month or maybe they look to move Necas for someone younger as a more long term fix. Or like you said, they can just stick with what they have down the middle and address it at the deadline if it needs addressing.
