Good idea, that Duchene goes to Carolina, but I think, Bean and a first is not enough to pay Colorado. I got nothing against Bean, but I think, they would have to throw in Fleury as well in the trade to make it go through. Duchene is a legitimate 1st line center, only 26, his value is skyhigh and rightfully so. And as much as it would hurt, Carolina can afford to give up Bean and Fleury with their stacked defense.

I agree that Bean and a first will not get this done, I think its Hanafin or no deal from colorado's side.

You lost me at "duchene is a legitimate first line center" when he played two center on one of the worst teams the NHL has seen in a while. I think the ability is there. But I don't think you can call him that
