Larry Lowballing on Joshua.

Pesce wants term so it'll be 7 years.

Chatfield isn't a top 4D.

Domi might sign for less because he loves Toronto.

Kampf's $2.4 million pays for both Arthur Kaliyev and Alex Turcotte, or Carl Grundstrom and Alex Turcotte. No, thanks.

Caps decline, we don’t need Timmins, we have four RD making 2M+. We’d be interested in Kampf, though.

Not lowballing at all. He put up decent points in the playoffs but did nothing in the regular season to suggest he deserves more as a third liner. Plus he got drafted here.

Peace will not get 7 years anywhere. I’ll bet everything I got on that one bud!

Chatfeild is good enough to be a top 4 D pariring on the leafs. Without a doubt.

Yes Domi will re sign

Kaliyev alone is going to want more than 2 mill bud. Keep dreaming. Kampf plays exactly the style of hockey that the kings like. Defence first

He’s a great cheap depth defencemen that only makes 1.1 mill and can step in and play good. Leafs trade him because they’re so tight on cap space and caps most definitely don’t decline that

Kaliyev doesn't have arbitration rights yet. What he wants is irrelevant, Sparky.

He’s also an RFA which means that if another team offer sheets him than LA has to match it or loose him. Chump

You love insulting people as if it gives your bad opinions more weight. Instead, it reinforces the fact that you know a lot less than you think you do.

Whether some team offer-sheets Kaliyev is irrelevant to the point under discussion, which was your uninformed contention that Kaliyev would want $2 million and that his want would have any impact. When your statement is refuted, changing the goalposts is a dead giveaway of intellectual dishonesty and thus a position's lack of merit.

You just said a whole bunch of nothing lmao. A team could still offer sheet him and if LA doesn’t feel the he’s worth it then they’ll let him walk. It’s completely relevant to the conversation actually. Your rebuttal was that Kampf contract could be used to sign Kayliev as well as others. My point was that he’s going to want 2M for sure. I understand that he doesn’t have arbitration rights. However, he was a good player in junior and other teams may want to add him and if they offer sheet him and LA doesn’t match his the contract he has every right to walk. The cap is going up bud, 2.4 for a 4th liner that is good defensively, is good at face offs and kills penalties isn’t a bad deal at all.

Caps most definitely do decline that. We have Carlson, Jensen, and TVR on the right side, who are all better than Timmins, not to mention Bear making 2M who should get more ice time this season and Iorio who could get a shot at an NHL job this season. We don’t need a position we have in riches, particularly cause Timmins is a major injury risk. And we need all the picks we can get.

Timmins is FAR more likely to get injured. Carlson and Jensen aren’t that old and have been fairly healthy except for Carlson’s freak accident puck to the face injury. Jensen is still a solid top 4 shutdown D, and Carlson is still a solid first line offensive D. Timmins is a 6th/7thD who can’t stay healthy.
