I'm predicting that the Blackhawks will pick Demidov 2nd overall, he'd be just the kind of player to pair with Bedard for the long haul. I think they're prioritizing surrounding him with better forwards. That would leave the right shot Levshunov for the Ducks. Some Kimelman guy doing a mock draft for nhl.com said that he and Celebrini are the most NHL ready players in the draft. If that's true, he'd probably be the answer to Verbeek's top four RHD search, even if he starts the year on the 3rd pair.

In other words, I don't think Demidov would even be there for Montreal at 3.
