I don't think that's enough. The cap hit of gourde is pretty bad. Maybe Removing Gourde from the trade altogether helps it.

I think it could be more simple, with Nashville just getting Marner, Seattle getting Saros and a Tomasino/Novak/Fabbro and Toronto getting Shane Wright.

I don't want NSH to trade for Marner anymore than you do, but from a purely assets out vs assets in perspective, NSH makes out very well here. TOR is getting taken to the woodshed by both teams.

I was gonna say something similar, I expected to see saros under the toronto banner as was honestly surprised to see him sent to seattle.

Whenever you see a Marner trade just entertain the possibility that he would waive for the hypothetical trade. Almost none of the trades on this website are realistic, mine included.
