I don't love the Rangers one even though I like Miller alot. The benefit of Pelech is we can run a shutdown pair of Parayko and Pelech for the entirety of their contracts as we try to filter in some youth. Pageau can at least be serviceable at center, an area where we lack, even if the contract isn't good.

Value is good for the rangers but they need young NHL ready defensemen. This trade would move them backwards competing

No reason for the rangers to make that deal. Miller will be a stud for years and they definitely will not trade anyone for futures as they are clearly in win-now

If all players were to waive their NTC I would totally say yes to this as an Isles fan. This lets Pulock become more of a stay at home Dman and I personally see a fit with Krug on the second pair.
