Like the idea behind the trade, although I think New York might have to give something else away in order for Ottawa to accept this trade. I think everything on the table would help to get Tkachuk, but I think either giving a goalie or a higher draft pick in the 2025 draft might make Ottawa go for this trade. Overall, though, I like this cause it's bold for New York and helps shed away the horrible contracts of Trouba and Goodrow. Although, I think Goodrow could be replaced with Mika, just cause of his ability on the faceoff and penality kill.

As an NYR fan I think OTT would ask for Othmann and Perrault and take out Berard....Chychrun has 1 year left on his deal, Trouba has 2 years and Goodrow has 3 years.
