Why are we insisting on Boston trading for chychrun I dont understand. He's not needed and he makes lohrei usage a little useless. Playing him or chychrun on the third pair is a waste of their talent and it just makes no sense to add Chychrun when he or Lohrei will be playing 13 mins a night. Chychrun on the third pair would be more of a burden for the Bruins because he'd be unhappy with his usage and the contract would end up being bad. Lohrei being used on the third pair is worse since hes not ready to command his own line and it would stunt his development.

It could simply be a one year play for Chychrun. I’d rather have a draft pick personally

Giving Mantha 7 years with his injury history seems not sound

I’d give Chych or the Boston 1st whichever they prefer. I’d love Ullmark but again he’d have to waive which doesnt seem likely.

With an extension, I believe this is more possible than people want to admit. It removes a risk and gets him paid based on the last two years

Tough to tell. He’s better than John Gibson at 6.4M and probably not quite where Sorokin is at 8.25M. Probably somewhere in between around 7M is my guess. Years will be interesting
