yes because Juulsen is 2 years away from nhl and davidson has some good value and is more easily tradable within the next hour for about a 4th i would say also noted that davidson can be more of a 7th waiting dman which can.t occur with schmidt .

it's very rare that a trade can be bad for both teams , but maybe u know better . Marchessault regressing ?? really ? Just come out of a 30 goals season .. Nate Shmidt could have been scratch a couple of game on a loaded washington D he is still gonna get awarded around 2-4 millions by an arbitrary not a fan like us . This deal can have up and down , can be talk about , hate , dislike , watever i don't mind but usually people would say good for mtl or bad or equal . Bad for both team is also in option . One should note that Vegas have plentyfull of def atm but will be completely unload of them by next year since most of them are scrub .Cheers !

his shooting percentage is unsustainable, and we have seen a lot of 1 hit wonders in this league. guys score 40 goals in one season, then never score more then 20 again. plus the guys 5'9 and is not good defensively. but i can agree to disagree

Not good defensively ? 2 years ago lead NHL.COM for short-handed goal an is a top 10 speed in the NHL .TOP 15 for purist . but he is there . Yes his shoot percentage was high , but with his speed he create a load of turnover and his fair share of breakaway , better hand would just put him as high as the sky . No PP for him but a lot of PK and some Plekanec or Mitchell center , offensive is a black hole for him . Agree to disagree , no prob with that , im here to chat for fun ... cheers !

Juulsen , Davidson *(or 4th, or DLR) VS Schmidt i would love that trade to the point of addind a 2nd maybe or a 3nd for sure or a goalie like McNiven , we don'T have much interesting in the prospect pool ... i see it as a way to get rid of the problem of defensemen and also to get young guy like Juulsen , Davidson and McCarron to develop later along side all the tasty second rounder picks
