I am curious about whether Carolina fans felt like Don Waddell was throwing some stones at Necas and his father at the end of season interviews.

Are Hurricanes going to pay Necas 6mil a year? I don’t think so. They have other players they need to pay. It is easy to say”no trade”, but how are you keeping him? Are you going to let him play center? Top 6? PP1? The Bruins will.
I don’t think Mitchell needs to be in trade. In fact Bruins should ask for a bit more(another pick or young prospect)

I mean MItchell is kinda worthless and I almost guarantee that the canes will get a much much better offer for Necas. Freidman talked about Hronek for Necas which is already more value than Ullmark.

I would rather have Ullmark and Lysell with Hronek’s expected ask. Either way, Carolina doesn’t have to trade him.

I do wonder if there is a degree of high maintenance with him.

They already have Dmen they can just sign, but still no goalie.
