Blueger had a better GA/60 and a significantly better xGA/60 this season at 5v5

Blueger also had a better GA/60 and a better xGA/60 this season on the PK

So Blueger was better defensively and quite a bit better offensively than Kampf this season

Kampf is also much better at face offs and blocks more shots. Both are good defensively. I’d definitely take Kampf. Better playoff performer as well. Like I keep saying, if the canucks won’t give up a 3rd for him than another team will. Bet on it!

Blueger has had a better faceoff % and more blocked shots than Kampf in each of the last 3 seasons. And that’s with Blueger playing less games in each of those seasons as well. So no he’s not much better at faceoffs and doesn’t block more shots

David Kampf just won a gold medal for Czechia and was a big part of there team in the tournament, where was blueger? Kampf was on the second line of that team. Anyways bud, keep blueger, dw other teams will happily give us a 3rd for kampf, we don’t need canucks draft picks lol. You guys have to worry about your pathetic Elias Petersson contract you just signed him too. That’s worse than marners

Blueger was busy playing in the 2nd round of the playoffs, something the Leafs aren’t very used to

And Pettersson’s contract isn’t bad at all. He was playing at a 110 point pace before suffering a knee injury. His contract is far better than the Marner, Nylander, and Tavares contracts

Canucks aren’t used to making the playoffs. Also, pastnak joined the Czechs after the 2nd round. There’s no excuses for bleuger lmao.

Petersons contact is absolutely atrocious. He did absolutely nothing in the playoffs. And he’s making the same amount as Nylander

Yet the Canucks have still made the 2nd round more times since 2020 than the Leafs have since the 2005 lockout

Also Latvia’s last game at the world championships was one day after the Canucks were eliminated, which is why Blueger didn’t play

And Pettersson was playing with knee tendinitis throughout the whole playoffs. You must also think Matthews contract is awful since he did absolutely nothing outside of game 2 in the playoffs
