So you honestly think the Hawks will trade Seth Jones and a 2nd round pick for the sole purpose of moving up 8 spots in the 1st round?

I'm confused. so if i'm reading this correctly (just joined today btw) then new jersey is getting nothing in this deal. They are trading their top pick (number 10 pick btw) and they get a late 1st round pick and have to pay 50 percent of marners salary? and thats it? why do you think that new jersey would do this? I think you tried to add a 3rd team to this trade to try and make it work, but it leaves one team at least with nothing good in return. new jersey has to receive more for their part of the trade. Assuming the salary cap numbers are good as well, considering the note to this trade.
