I get Brandon Carlo is your favorite player but come on this is not a crazy bad deal it is unrealistic but value wise its not " a bunch of crap." Woll was equal to Swayman when they both played against each other btw and Woll won those games..... relax bro and try not to be so biased. As a leaf fan I will let you know this. McMann, Woll and for some even Tavares are wanted here. Carlo is great and I agree this trade blows but your super misguided in the value of these Toronto players. I don't know a whole lotta people who are still sleeping on Woll but to call him trash or even something boston "doesnt need/want" is dumb. Last I checked you guys are actively selling ullmark so who's your third?

Well, you kinda hit the nail on the head there. Boston is selling goaltenders. They aren't interested in removing pieces off their roster to buy goaltenders....because duh. They have two options internally that have been tearing up the AHL. Bussi is in the lead to have the backup role in boston. I don't recall calling Woll trash, but he's certainly not something Boston needs. Neither is Tavares.

In this trade, the bruins do the following:
downgrade goaltending
downgrade their blueline (with major future implications as Carlo has term at a great number)
downgrade their cap sitaution
pick up a center at $8M that isn't worth $8M
lose a draft pick

You can't be serious thinking Woll is a downgrade from Ullmark.
