Blows my mind that Franson isn't signed yet. He's a legit top 4 dman. And as a Caps fan I hope to goodness you guys don't get him. Moving Cole to get him would be an amazing move like the Caps buying out Orpik to make room for him.

I totally agree, I would love to move some Sens defenceman around to sign Franson. Has been underrated everywhere he went imo. I think he gets a soft rap for not using his size. But he can pass, skate and he's tidy in his own and.

I think Franson would be thrilled to get 2 million at this point of the off season. That would allow room to add Reaves and fill out the roster. Maybe flip ZAR and Jake, 167 lbs seems too small for an NHL center.

A Maatta-Franson pairing would be just.. epic. They could have just see themselves from the side but being on the iceat the same time. Would see how slow they are and hopefully make that effort.. damn quickly

So Franson doesn't match the style the Pens play and you take him for 3M+ and want to trade away defensive defender at 2M for a pick. But you still haven't got a 3c and has 1m less of cap to fill that hole. Only a 3rd taker probably to trade for him?

You might like Franson and want him to win a Cup but he won't win that I guess.

Franson is terrible. He can't skate, struggles to be aggressive and cant make an outlet pass to save his life.

He shouldn't even be in the league

He is legit one of the worst skaters in the NHL.

Possession stats are amazing. He can pass and shoot.
