this may shock you, but players legs change in their mid 30s. most forwards his age are retiring.

From my perspective, Lindholm is the first and second choice. If Stamkos is the replacement to DeBrusk at closer to the same $6M dollar figure, You probably consider it.

I’d be open to Linus Ullmark to Chicago for Taylor Hall and and a late 2nd/early 3rd. Seems like a low risk deal for Chicago and gets a forward on an expiring.

when hes played center hes been fine despite multiple injuries. if anything playing through the middle helps. bergeron didnt regress one bit, kopitar, crosby, thornton, etc dont have to go to the wing because they're dominant wherever they play. Stamkos and them are unicorns they'll play wherever until they cant anymore. Its not like he moved to the wing because he was unproductive

because cirelli and paul get bumped up when hes on the wing so they dont have connor sheary, tanner jeanot and or eyssimont in the top 6 lol

i mean sure he *could. but its just so clear he's better at a winger. If you're trying to contend for a cup and have stamkos on your team, he should be playing on the wing.

I could agree there but with the options too upgrade at center either him or lindholm is what I could see them target unless Potsy is ready to make a huge jump but that’s just wishful thinking

this is really simple - stamkos is a wing now. that's why he plays wing now.

I just don’t think he’s ready of that demand to be a top 6 player don’t want to rush him think that 3rd line center spot is perfect for him this up coming year
