Interesting Necas trade. Are people high on Stramel? Seems like a projected third line forward drafted wayyyy too high because of Guerin's love for defensive guys.

I'd consider this trade, though.

I see it different. Lambos is a meh defensive prospect and Stramel is just Boucher 2.0. A projected bottom 6 guy everyone knew was drafted way too high for what was around at the time.

The 13thOA is great, but we're also moving our first back. I'd take a base around 13OA for Necas, scratching the two mediocre prospects.

I like Rossi, but on the trade with the caps, McMichael and Rossi will be the same age to start the season this year. Tough one for me to evaluate. Rossi is younger and coming off a 20 goal year, but McMichael is much more consistent, has a better track record, and probably a better defensive player. I feel like they are close in value to each other, but a 2nd and a 3rd feels like too much for the gap between McMichael and Rossi, if in fact, Rossi is the better player.

Honestly, I thought I would get a lot of backlash from Wild fans but if it is seen as closer than what I have shown than maybe I should have gone with the idea I had in the first place of McM and a second for Rossi

That's prob closer in value. I honestly have not watched alot of Rossi. Have you caught any of his play in the pros? What does he actually look like?

I watched a few games of his and he is a smaller stature quick playmaking center. Good hands and good speed. Something the Capitals somewhat lack. McMichael is a strong 2 way forward
