habs dont need a goalie. they are set in goal, starter and backup, with several more in the pipeline.

keep your old crusty 'vet' goalies to yourself, and eat that cap

try identifying simple basic needs .
eg: habs deep at lhd in prospect and youth, so that is deep and can trade away some
and their needs are basically scoring wingers.

do that for all teams you like and do tardes based on that

I'd do Engstrom and the 3rd for Kakko. If he stays a 3rd liner his whole career, well, at least he's still cheap and useful. If he finds the scoring touch he had before the NHL, so much the better.

Engstrom should be a solid 4-5 dman in the NHL. The 3rd is...what all 3rds are. a crapshoot. Engstrom was a 3rd.

There's literally no reason to get Quick. He should go to a team with a young starter. Or he can re-sign for another year in NYR if they feel Garand isn't ready.

Dobes is probably a call-up this year if someone gets hurt. I'd think about getting an experienced goalie to share the net with him in Laval, though. Long term, Fowler's our future starter.
