Description

A little complicated. Korpi dump is worth about Chychryn even if Sens fans wouldn’t pay that. Feels like right around market price (a first and two seconds or something like that)

Sens fans can’t be too upset about also getting Kuemper, van Riemsdyck and Mangiapane. Their side is not great but not bad.

Washington pays a lot in the first rounder for dumping Kuemper. But getting Kuzmenko back is pretty nice. Maybe a mid pick or prospect gets thrown in.

Calgary gets pieces no doubt, I’m a Flames homer. but we take on the Korpi contract.

That’s definitely worth a lot.

This makes trading Markstrom a lot trickier… harder to take a G contract back.

I disagree. A solid winger, a decent bottom pairing right-handed D-man, and a veteran Tendy.

Add us signing DeMelo and there's our 2 RHD that we can roll with.

Kuemper is a decent enough upgrade from Korpisalo. Yes his numbers weren't the greatest this season but he's far more consistent than Korpi.

I’m never sure why ACGM turns into a heated battle of probability and projection.

It’s an idea. It’s entertaining. It’s obviously in the realm of possibility. You saying “OTT not lowering Chych’ value by attaching Korpi” instead of “I would be disappointed if OTT lowered Chych’ trade value by attaching Korpi”

It’s a subtle difference but I’m always surprised by it.
