I can’t see the Canes doing this…not from a player value standpoint, but from a roster construction and future outlook standpoint.

The Canes need to get out of a Necas trade multiple roster players to help fill the voids the departing UFAs are going to create. I love Buch, think we should have moved Necas for him this TDL…but can’t trade Necas for 1 year of Buch contract.

We’d win 8-10 more games but with JT and Schenn slowing down and Binner gone we probably won’t make it far. Hofer will be the guy in 2 years or so. Possibly move JT and Schenn to the wing and let Necas and Dali play C.

honestly this team is really good if u just completely wipe out that devils trade, it's just not needed for the blues when kessel can easily play on the bottom line, also we cant get rid of binner

If we won 10 more games then I would call it a success. I don’t think these moves make us give up too much and they help build a younger team.

I’m all in for a Necas trade, especially since Friedman says Carolina isn’t expected to sign him. The Toronto and NJ trades are the two I’m not sure about. Casey would be a nice addition if we can move one of Krug, Faulk, Leddy.
